Boomers, punters and property moguls haven’t been the only groups to benefit from Sydney’s five-year property boom – charities are also seeing a windfall from homes bequeathed to a good cause.

“The number of bequests is increasing, but the value of them as well is increasing as property prices rise,” said Guide Dogs NSW/ACT’s general manager of planned giving, Sally Biles.
